Case Study : Sayali Bhagat

Crowned as Femina Miss India World 2004, Sayali Bhagat shot to fame in the modeling industry. She later turned towards Bollywood and in 2007 she made her debut with Emran Hashmi and Geeta Basra in ‘The Train’. Born on 1 January 1984, Sayali hails from a Maharashtrian family in Nasik

Sayali Bhagat was born in a traditional family and completed her schooling at Fravashi Academy in Nasik itself. She went to Mumbai for her graduation and completed her Bachelor of Management Studies from Alkesh Dinesh Modi Institute of Finance and Management Studies. Since an early age, she was involved in extracurricular activities like debates, athletics, elocutions and other competitions. She also had an interest in modeling and acting; she used her spare time to pursue these interests. She has a special talent for fusion Indo-Western dance and also excelled in the field of modeling and Bollywood. Her initial modeling assignments included SNDT college show, Dentzz and Swarovski gems fashion show

She won the Miss India-World title in 2004 and later entered in to movies. She proposed to Rahul Dravid and later Irfan Pathan on television for a show MTV Bakra. Her first movie, released on 8th July 2007, was with Emran Hashmi and Geeta Basra titled ‘The Train – Some lines should Never be Crossed’. Her other Hindi movies include Good Luck, Halla Bol, Paying Guests, Jail, Kirkit. She has also done regional movies like Newtonin Moondram in Tamil and Blade Babji in Telugu and has done a special appearance in Inkosaari. She has also worked in a documentary on the life of Baba Amte, who she also considers as a role model. She idolizes Baba Amte for his selfless service and work done towards the welfare of leprosy stricken people and tribals. Sayali Bhagat is a rising star in the field of cinema and is making the city of Nasik proud with her achievements……….
