An Introduction: Neelay Industries is the 1st of all company of Neelay Group started in the Year 1995. From 2005 till date, industry has come a long way in what we have achieved so far. Industry premises expand From 500 sq ft. to 20000 sq ft. Industry has well equipped machine shop with latest technology machinery of almost 20,000 sq ft. Shop floor under one roof, has the capacity to assemble multiple projects right from component manufacturing to assembly.
Neelay Group of Industries comprises 600 plus employees grown up from mere 15 and asset of 125 Crore started from Rs. 21,000/-. With such great amenity, Neelay focuses on its core competencies in manufacturing to ensure specification and industry guideline compliance and reliable operations. The Beginning: Mr. Dilip Girase belonging to remote village Karla of Amravati District of Maharashtra. After completion of schooling at his parental village, he has completed his ITI from Amravati Govt ITI .
It was in the year 1981 when he came to Nashik. He did not know any one and took up a small job in Sindhkar Industries with a Case Study Neelay Group of Industries: Ringing Success-CEOMr. Dilip Girase meager salary. With overtime he managed salary for himself and for his family members at Amravati. It was tough days with Mr. Girase and somehow managed to put a roof on his head and then called the younger brother to Nashik in the year 1986 and then eventually the entire family migrated to Nashik. Then they decided to start a small business in the year 1995 and started their own small scale manufacturing unit in rented shop by buying some basic machinery required to set up the work shop. Business was set up and birth of Neelay Industries taken place but at the same time they did not ignore the help they got from the people in Nashik. The Success Story: Neelay Group of Industries is now one among the big brands in manufacturing units of Satpur Industrial area of Nashik. A multidimensional and consistent effort is the base of every success. After the great success of Neelay Industries, Mr. Girase had never looked back.
Successively within the span of 15 years, Neelay Industries Pvt. Ltd has become Neelay Group of Industries additionally comprises Neelay Metal Industries, ENAM Casting Private Ltd., Surja Bhivsan Milk Products, and Nilchandra Engineering Pvt. Ltd. Girase Brothers their sister and even mother worked hard on daily wages in their primary days at Nashik to justify their means. During initial days of struggle Mr Dilip Girase and his brothers manage to get contractual base work of manufacturing of metal units from big brands of Nashik manufacturing hub. With small fabrication shop of 100 sq ft. size in Satpur industrial area and basic engineering machineries, production for metal units have been started. As the time pass by he hired skilled employees with the growth with 24* 7 works at his small unit. Size of employees grown to 25 within the year of start up.
Due to consistent and timely delivery and flawless work, Mr. Girase had become favorite small vendor of metal industries. Till the year of 2000, small workshop has taken shape of Small Scale industry and employed approx more than 100 youths and birth of Neelay Industries took place during the span of this five years. Mr. Girase dreamt about to become an employer for the educated and jobless youths for his village.
He set up his new manufacturing unit Neelay Metal Industries in the year 2004 and employed more than 150 ITI certified youths. With the promising work proficiency Neelay Industries have tie up with German Companies and the products were started exporting to Europe. ENAM Casting Pvt Ltd. had laid its foundation in 2006 and Neelay Group of Industries had made its base in Electronics and Electrical instrument manufacturing hub.
It is seen that Neelay group of Industries getting around 50% of its total revenue from MNCs like ABB India, Satpur Nashik, Cropmton & Greaves, Schneider Electric etc. With successive stories of Neelay Group of Industries, Mr. Girase had also fulfilled his responsibility towards his village. With the help of Government of Maharashtra Schemes of milk productions, he have started unit of milk products at his native village Karla in Amravati district by the name Surja Bivsan Milk products Pvt. Ltd.
He has distributed more than 500 cows and buffalos to villagers and farmers to support financially as second source of income for them. Unit is receiving approx 2500 liters milk a day. Milk product industry have employed 50 youths from entire area with graduation in Agriculture and Milk processing. Mr. Girase and family also producing second generation entrepreneurs in their family and those have laid foundation for Nilchandra Engineering Pvt. Ltd. employing 100 ITI certifying youths. CSR: Mr. Dilip Girase and brothers are belongs to small and remote village where water scarcity is common factor. In 2008 Neelay industries have taken step towards solving this problem of water supply and constructed dam in 26 acres land with his own expenses. Now the farmers of Karla are getting plenty of water for their drinking and farming purpose. Land has become “Sujalam Sufalam” with production of Cotton, Soybeans, Grams, Oranges, Sweet Lines, Lemons, Pomegranates and also Neelay industries has taken responsibility to export it out of state and as well as India.
Future Plan: Neelay Group of Industries eyeing on expanding its wings in the area of Communication Industry, Mineral Water Packaged drinking water industry, Construction Industry etc by doubling the number of employees and asset worth in next five years but not on the cost of employee’s regress. Neelay group of Industries has plan for employee cottages so that existing and new comers will get shelter till they get their own house.
